The basics and how tos...

As I proudly reflected on the fact that I had started a blog and where I would go with it, I came up with the idea of cataloguing the first few weeks of blogging, as in... the infancy of a blogger. This way, I will have tried all options, be a whizz at them, and serve you, my fellow infant blogger.

How, where, what can one do? I've heard that if you can type, you can blog. Well, ok, but it's no MSWord document so for those of you that are new at this, this is for you. For those of you that aren't please skip to my first post... "Welcome to my Blog... Here we go."

While I wish I was understanding the basics of snorkeling in this amazing location, let's concentrate at the task at hand.

I've figured out that under "Posting", you can post a "new post", you can "edit a post", you can upload a picture within a post, or as its solitary post, and you are given options as to the justification, or placement, of where the picture appears... left, center, right. More on images later.

As far as your font variations you are limited as you might be in an email... only 8 fonts to chose from (five, six, seven, eight), 5 size options from smallest to largest, bold, ital, and 70 colors... now that's generous!

Justification of text, left, center, right and full (for those of you that don't know what that means, it's when text is asked to touch both the left and right of the page like the line above.
And centered is like this.
This is left.
This is right.

Next up on your tool bar across the top of your post screen is numbering
  1. (so
  2. I didn't
  3. have to
  4. type in
  5. my numbers
  6. on my last post
  7. like I did!),

Then
  • bullets
  • " = jumping to beginning of the post,
  • spell check,
  • insert image,
  • insert a video
and a little eraser that I'm not sure what do with yet.

Enjoy posting and editing posts. You are now equipped.
